For teachers
I offer not only a solution by a psychologist, but also pedagogical support to both teacher and child.
How can I help you?
Some common pain points
You are concerned about a child in your class who is disruptive, and you would like to help them.
This child cannot seem to take instruction, and is breaking down discipline in the class.
It could hinder the teaching job, and takes a lot of energy.
You may have received complaints from other parents, or even the parents of the child regarding their development.
It can become very stressful, and the whole group may be unmanageable at times.
Why work with me?
Both psychological and pedagogical support.
I provide one to one support, at home and in school. I have over 10 years of experience, working in the International School Delft, The American School of Kinshasa and the University of Amsterdam Family Lab.
I am trained in a variety of approaches, including Verbal Behaviour (social language learning for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder), Applied Behaviour Analysis, individual focused counseling and Youth at Risk prevention.
I speak fluent English and French, and have a lot of experience with expat families.
A specific treatment plan
I can observe the problem in class, set up a diagnosis and design a strategy to alleviate the issue.
I can help to resolve the possible feelings of frustration and guilt in the different parties and accusations of malpractice through a clinical diagnosis.
I can provide individual support for the child one to one, and in class to reduce the workload on the teacher and parents, and help the child to reach their full potential.
Get in touch
If you are interested, but have questions - do not hesitate to get in touch. No two cases are the same - I always provide individual help.
